I think the yearbook staff decides about the senior portraits.
2. Who has ultimate control over the content of the yearbook at Durango High School?
The yearbook staff, which includes the editors and teacher of yearbook have the control over the yearbook.
3. How is the Durango High School yearbook senior portraits different from the Akins yearbook?
Well at Durango High School, they have the oppurtunity of having a picture of themselves in which they express of who you are, and you could have those photos taken like at a studio. At Akins High School the senior portraits are all the same for each senior. Its a mug shot of us with a black dress , but the phot its only from the chest and up.
4. Do you think students who attend the school should be able to submit any photo they want for their senior portrait? Why?
I think so, because its a photo , that expreses who you are , of what you want your classmates to look at you of how you are leaving high school. I think it could be any photo.
5.Or do you think every one's senior portrait should look the same like how we have it at Akins? Why?
Having the same posture and the same clothes its just boring, and no the senior portraits should be different, for everyone, everyoness is unique.
6. Why do you think the student editorial board changed its decision about using the photo?
What i think is the principal got involved in the decision , of this senior, which i think just the yearbook staff should of made a decision, of having her photo in the yearbook.
